In a Nut Shell

Gina began her career in as a photo stylist. After graduating in the fine arts she fell into working at her first photo studio for a major retailer resulting from a series of informational interviews where she learned about the world of commercial photography.  Everything snowballed from there as different opportunities appeared including corporate contracts where she then learned to work with other structures as well.

Moving to Los Angeles and back to Minneapolis, Gina pivoted from styling to production. She felt she could be a better stylist if she had a fuller understanding of projects, but quickly learned that she was better suited for production managing all the moving pieces.

Soon Target Corporation called and asked to contract as an art buyer. There she learned to manage more than photo and video projects. This experience led to several agency contracts. Over her career she has been in the roles of client, crew, and vendor bouncing between contracts and working as a traditional line producer.

Gina is happiest learning something new and working with energetic people.  When she is not working, Gina is traveling or pursuing patient advocacy.
