What Do People Who Have Worked with Shaz Want You To Know About Her?
Shaz is incredible to work with, not just as a producer but as a person. She is incredibly organized, well versed in the challenges of production today and someone I trust in client facing settings. She always brings a solution to the table when facing road blocks and is someone I’m honored to have called a colleague.
Shaz is the kind of Producer that, once you work with her, you won’t want to work with anyone else. She has an impeccable eye for detail—whether it’s building precise production grids, spotting locations for shoots, being amazing on set, quality-controlling final mechanicals, or asking the right questions at the very start of a project. She is incredibly flexible and collaborative with her team, while also knowing when to push for the information needed to deliver the highest-quality work. Shaz consistently steps in when her team needs additional guidance or support, and she takes the time to fully understand both the ask and the creative direction before confidently taking the reins and driving projects through to successful delivery. Beyond her exceptional skill set, Shaz is truly a delight to work with. She brings positivity, clarity, and light to every project, and I genuinely look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.
Shaz is a seasoned print producer and art buyer – across complex projects with hundreds of executions in different formats to focused, nuanced photoshoots and illustration jobs. Deeply connected and knowledgeable, easy to work with, thorough and diligent. She also has great taste and she matches the same passion for the work as the teams she works with. We’ve worked with her for years and will be again when you aren’t.
Shaz was a jewel as art producer and production manager during her 7-month freelance stint at Giant. She was nothing but professional, dedicated, highly focused, collaborative, consistent, and a joy to work with. She worked effectively with anyone, including every member of her various brand teams, senior management, and all our vendor partners. Her ability to juggle competing priorities, think outside the box, and prevent potential problems was nothing short of superb. Everyone appreciated her strong work ethic: simple and straightforward yet comprehensive and thorough. She was hard working, committed, patient, unflappable, curious, responsible, and accountable.
I am thankful to have learned so much working alongside her—another perspective, a smarter approach, a better balance. She always offered the best of herself, and her talent and initiative redefined what it means to work together towards a common goal. We miss her every day!
