Freelance Art Producer
In a Nut Shell
Amy started her career in the editorial world after earning her BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. She worked in the photo departments of some of the industry’s leading publications – SOMA, WIRED and Martha Stewart. The diverse content of these periodicals helped hone her skill and develop her aesthetic and sensibility.
She began her career in Art Production in 2004 after realizing she could marry her great loves of travel, visual content, production and organizational prowess into a paying job. She’s had the privilege to work at two exceptional agencies – TBWA\Chiat\Day and mcgarrybowen. After joining mcgarrybowen in 2007, Amy transitioned into the role of Head of Art Production, where for 5 years she built and maintained an A-team of producers. She’s managed a wide range of productions, including the following clients – Chase, Verizon, Absolut, Disney, Marriott, Reebok and Pfizer.
Amy is passionate and thorough. She works and plays well with others, and most importantly, functions calmly in the ‘chaos’ that often characterizes the industry.
